摘要：Process for treating liquids e.g. seawater, brackish water, wastewater andeffluent comprises using a preheating/removal unit for preheating and pre-cleaning theliquid. The preheating/removal unit contains a heat exchanger which preheats the liquidto a temperature below the boiling temperature of the base liquid. Low boiling liquidimpurities and/or gaseous impurities are removed in the unit. Process for treating liquidse.g. seawater, brackish water, wastewater and effluent comprises using apreheating/removal unit for preheating and pre-cleaning the liquid. The
preheating/removal unit contains a heat exchanger which preheats the liquid to atemperature below the boiling temperature of the base liquid. Low boiling liquidimpurities and/or gaseous impurities are removed in the unit. A mixing unit is connectedto the preheating/removal unit for finely distributing the liquid in a carrier gas to form acarrier gas/liquid mixture. The mixing unit is also connected to a vaporizer/condensationheat exchanger for vaporizing the carrier gas/liquid mixture so that liquid impuritiesremain. A concentrate separator and a condensate separator are also provided. AnIndependent claim is also included for a device for treating liquids e.g. seawater, brackish
water, wastewater and effluent.
